Can you meet us at the airport?
Absolutely! If you have never been to Roatan before we prefer you allow
us to arrange your transport with a driver we frequently use and speaks
english and knows where the properties are located. When you exit baggage
claim you can rest easy having one of our contracted drivers at the airport.
The cost is the same as if you got any taxi on your own but the service
is better and the vehicle more comfortable. Our goal is making sure from
the time you step foot on the island we are helping to make your vacation
"No Stress".
Can you help us line up things to do (Diving, fishing, etc.)?
We would be glad to. We don't just work here we play here and think we
have some great ideas to make sure you have as much fun as we do. Just
let us know what you have in mind so we can help you do as much or little
as you want. The earlier you let us know the better to line things up.
We have a full time concierge that will be touching base with you before
and during your trip to make sure you are getting the help and advice
you desire.
Should I rent a car?
We think so for most locations, but it is not a necessity as cabs are
inexpensive and easy to find. Roatan is a safe and easy place to navigate
and having a car can help you explore the island. We can even tell you
about a few out of the way spots to visit.
How often is the house or unit cleaned during our stay?
The home is cleaned and ready for you upon arrival. We also provide the
cleaning after check out. If you would like more frequent cleanings (daily,
mid week etc) that is easy to schedule for you. Just let us know how often
you require service and we can arrange it for an additional fee.
What do you suggest for groceries during our stay?
We will have an evening snack and some breakfast foods for you at your
island getaway when you arrive so you can start relaxing immediately and
continue to wind down through the next morning. We will have a map to
the local stores and a description of what they offer for you as well.
It is also our pleasure to provision the villa before you arrive so you
can skip shopping for food and start eating and relaxing. We charge 15%
above the price of the food for this service but our guests know its well
worth it. Shopping in Roatan can be a bit of a search to find all your
favorite items. We take the hassle out of going to 3 or more locations
and find it all and have it in the unit for your arrival.
How do you handle airport arrivals and transfers?
We meet the first one of your group arriving at the airport (look for
a sign with your name on it). At that point we help you get a taxi or
rental car at your expense which is about $20 - $30 for most areas of
Roatan. Then you will make your way to the house where one of our representatives
will meet you with you at the home to check you into the property and
go over everything with you. If your group is arriving at multiple times
and you want us to meet them, let us know and we can work with you to
schedule a driver to meet the other parties at your expense and have them
be brought back to the rental villa.
Where is Lawson Rock?
Lawson Rock is located on the North West Shore of Roatan. Featuring over
3000 feet and 100+ acres this planned community is in the heart of Sandy
Bay. Perfectly located a few minutes drive from West End Village and its
nightlife and shopping. Coming from the airport or Ferry terminal drivers
will turn left upon exiting and continue a a few miles past coxed hole
and across the island to the north shore where the main road turns towards
the west. Lawson Rock is located on the right and is easily recognizable
as you will notice are large condo buildings and incredible landscaping.
A quick 8 min drive from Roatan International Airport.
What is there to do in Lawson Rock?
Lawson Rock has many on sight activities that can be done or arranged
for right from the property. Snorkeling, beach combing, swimming in the
ocean or our pools, kayaking, fishing, day spa, massage, dining, hiking,
bird watching and much more. Additionally our concierge is more than happy
to arrange local tours and activities off property.
